The EDT Brentwood Satellite Centre is part of the Essex Dance Theatre County-wide Dance Project.
Classes in Brentwood take place at
Becket Keys School weekday evenings and on Saturdays.

Students undertake classes in their own choice of Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz styles, working towards ISTD examinations for dancers who wish to do so (100% success).

New students are able to join Essex Dance Theatre at any age (from 3+) with or without previous experience and are always made most welcome.

EDT offers an open-door policy where every child is valued and carefully taught in a positive

atmosphere.
Our school has a wonderful community feel where students are known and treated as individuals.

We offer quality teaching in small classes!
Our fees are very low as compared to any local dance school with a 1 hour class @ 4.25

JUNIOR AND SENIOR PERFORMING GROUPS

All students are invited to be a part of the Performing Groups you see here. These weekly performing group sessions are free of charge to all EDT students. There is no audition or selection policy, only a commitment to attend rehearsals and to offer energy and enthusiasm!

FREE WEEKLY PERFORMING GROUP SESSIONS
FOR ALL EDT STUDENTS
There are 3 levels of Performing Group At EDT Brentwood.

There is no charge for these sessions
as we feel they are a vital part of the training we offer at EDT

No Expensive Costume Charges!

These are kept to an absolute minimum. Costumes are sensibly priced at around 5 per dance by recycling/sponsorship and creativity. For example these beautiful Bridesmaid dresses (above) had been previously used or were sourced from Boot Sales and Charity Shops!
